Caregiver Support

Caregiver Support

As both a licensed therapist and a full-time caregiver to my partner, I understand the toll caregiving can take — physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This isn’t just something I read about in a textbook. I’m living it: the exhaustion, the love, the guilt, the daily decisions that never feel small. And I know how isolating it can feel to carry all that in silence.

That’s why I offer a space for caregivers to show up as they are — whether overwhelmed, grieving, burned out, or just needing someone who gets it. I support spouses caring for ailing partners, adult children navigating shifting roles with aging parents, and anyone trying to balance compassion with their own survival. You don’t have to do this alone. Let’s talk about what’s real, and find a way forward that honors both your needs and theirs.

LGBTQ+ & Intergenerational Partnerships

As someone in an intergenerational gay relationship, I know firsthand how few spaces truly understand the layered realities we face — the age gaps, the assumptions, the invisibility, and the way caregiving can shift a relationship’s dynamic in ways most people can’t imagine. Whether you're the younger partner taking on more responsibility, or the older partner navigating loss of independence, I offer nonjudgmental, experienced support. You deserve care that honors your story, not someone else's idea of what a relationship should look like.
